Château du Tertre is probably the Margaux wine that has the most impressive rise in terms of quality and reputation in the last 15 years which made it become one of the sure values of Margaux. The cool, fresh forest berries character gives this medium-bodied Grand Cru a lot of charm. It is followed by a darker yet still caressing steeped black cherry, worn leather, and espresso notes on the back end. It has a long, very clean, and rather elegant finish.
