ABOUT THIS WINE
Ranked as 1st grand Cru Classé in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855, Château Guiraud is a sweet dessert wine located in Sauternes. It became the first estate from the 1855 classification to receive organic certification. Stylistically, Guiraud is a flamboyant Sauternes: rich, sweet and intensely aromatic but perfectly balanced. When young, it displays exotic fruit and citrus aromas but with time it evolves to show notes of saffron and marmalade.
