The 1995 from Bordeaux France which in 1745 already figured on Bellamy’s famous map under the name of “Sertan”, is located in the heart of the Pomerol plateau.
The domaine lies very close to the Pomerol church, and has plenty of famous neighbours, including Petrus and Château La Conseillante.
As its name suggests, it is one of Pomerol oldest and most exalted estates. Actually, it is the oldest known estate in Pomerol
Vieux Château Certan 1995 is dark ruby with purple glints and a young wine’s slightly bluish edge.
It has aromas of violet and black currant with excellent aromatic intensity that reveals great complexity and finesse.
The attack is suave and rigorous, the different tastes highly distinguishable.
Discover its superb equilibrium and long persistence.
An exceptional wine, elegant, slightly woody, concentrated and fine at the same time.
