About this Product

Absolut Citron is one of the major core flavours of Absolut Vodka. Citron means "lemon" in Swedish, and it is made from citrus fruits such as lemons, oranges, and grapefruit. It is crafted from Swedish winter wheat and water from deep wells in Åhus. Guaranteed to have a 100% natural taste, no added sugar.

Absolut Citron was launched in 1988 and was the inspiration for the Cosmopolitan, one of the best-known modern cocktails. It has a smooth taste with a fresh fruity lemon and lime character plus notes of lemon peel.

About Vodka

Made from the distillation of anything containing fermentable sugars, Vodka is a clear and unaged spirit. Cereal grains like wheat, rye and barley are the most commonly used bases, but modern Vodkas are now made from crops as diverse as sugar beets, grapes and potatoes. Ideally Vodkas should be colorless, odorless and flavorless, but differences in ingredients and modern production methods have yielded a wide range of flavors. Vodka may be sipped chilled and neat or used as a base for a variety of cocktails, from the Martini to the Cosmopolitan.
