ABOUT THIS WINE - DANIEL'S NOTE
It is always a pleasure to drink a wine from such a mythic vintage. Especially when you taste it at many times and can follow its evolution. Château Brane-Cantenac 1982 shows wonderful finesse.
Château Brane-Cantenac, located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, is one of the 15th wine that are classified as 2nd Grand Cru Classe (Second Growth) in the Bordeaux Classification of 1855. For many years, the Chateau lost it's shine, until Henri Lurton bought it in 1956...Since then, it really worth its rank of 2nd Grand Cru Classé.
