TASTE NOTES
Sight: Pakkle yellow colour with green tints
Nose: Citrus aromas with smoky notes
Taste: Fresh and very aromatic attack. The palate is round, with a great acidity (coming from the later ripening sites at higher altitude). A lot of freshness on the finish mixed with salty notes, which express the minerality of the wine.

ABOUT THIS WINE
"Light and breezy smelling, this starts with pleasant tones of apple flesh, citrus, white melon and a touch of straw. The palate is similarly light and vibrant, with medium acidity and flavors of yellow apple, orange rind and hay. It's clean and well-balanced, with nice precision and a fine texture that lead into a medium-length close." - Lauren Buzzeo

About France

French wine is nearly synonymous with fine wine and all things epicurean, France has a culture of wine production and consumption that is deeply rooted in tradition. Many of the world’s most beloved grape varieties originated here, as did the concept of “terroir”—soil type, elevation, slope and mesoclimate combine to produce resulting wines that convey a sense of place.

Accordingly, most French wine is labeled by geographical location, rather than grape variety. So a general understanding of which grapes correspond to which regions can be helpful in navigating all of the types of French wine. Some of the greatest wine regions in the world are here, including Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône and Champagne, but each part of the country has its own specialties and strengths.

About

A key ingredient in the white wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache Blanc can be unctuous and soft or floral and fresh. Some of the finest examples are terroir-driven, age-worthy wines. Grenache Blanc is also a significant variety in the vins doux naturels of Rivesaltes. Many of the delicious, value-driven table whites France are Grenache Blanc blends. Single-varietal Grenache Blanc wines are becoming more popular in California and can occasionally be found in South Africa. In Spain it plays a significant role in whites wine from Priorat

Tasting Notes for Grenache Blanc
Grenache Blanc is a dry white wine with a full body and enticing aromas such as those of green plum, yellow peach, pear, mango, brioche and honeysuckle.
