Eyes: Dark and vibrant purple in colour

Nose: On the nose you will find dark berries and black fruits, blackberry, mulberry, plum and a touch of liquorice.

Palate: Subtle floral notes intertwine with the dark core of fruit. Subtle hints of smoky oak add complexity and savoury notes.

About Cabernet Sauvignon

Despite the modern importance and ubiquity of Cabernet Sauvignon, it is actually a relatively young variety. In 1997, DNA profiling revealed the grape to be a spontaneous crossing of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc which took place in 17th century southwestern France.
